Archery and Muzzleloader Hunts
Brown County, IL
Twin Hollows Outfitters offers high quality archery and muzzleloader hunts on private , unfenced, property that is owned by Twin Hollows, Inc. We have managed this property since 1996 for trophy Whitetail.
The land is 70% timber and 30% agriculture, mixed in rolling hills and creek bottoms.
We have numerous acres in clover, milo, corn, and alfalfa food plots.
We offer fully guided hunts for trophy bucks (3 1/2 years old or more). Each morning you will be taken to a comfortable stand, that the guide has placed, to maximize your chances at an Illinois trophy.
Typically, our hunters come back in the middle of the day for lunch, and to relocate to an evening location. However, if you wish to stay in the woods, a lunch will be packed for you and your guide will check with you at assigned times.
Your guide will help you track your deer and will do all of the "post shot" tasks you need (track, dress, haul, take to processor, arrange taxidermists, etc.)
If you have a favorite lock on, climber, ladder, or blind stand, you are welcome to bring it and your guide will place it in a "hot" location.
The cost of a hunt is $600 per day, with a 4 day minimum. This costs includes lodging, meals, and a semi guided hunt. The cost of tips and license is in addition to this cost.
LICENSE AND PERMITS
Out of state permits are limited and are sold , over the phone, on a first come first served basis starting in early July.
The cost of all needed permits is roughly $475 for archery and $250 for muzzleloader. Once a hunter books with us, we will do all the work and administration needed to secure a permit for you.
If you have your permits, all you need to do is call us or use our web site to book a hunt.
With an out of state tag, each hunter is allowed 1 buck (15 inch spread or greater) and 1 doe.
We encourage the harvesting of 1 doe per hunter and will pay for the processing of your doe and donate it to a local food bank if you wish.
DEPOSIT, PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS
A 50% deposit is due when booking and the balance is due by October 1st.
No refunds are allowed. However, we will transfer deposits to future years in the event of a cancellation.
